What are PCB High-Frequency Boards?

PCB high-frequency boards are specialized circuit boards with high magnetic frequency. Generally, high frequency can be defined as frequencies above 1GHz. These boards have extremely high requirements for various physical properties, accuracy, and technical parameters. They are commonly used in automotive collision avoidance systems, satellite systems, radio systems, and other fields, albeit at a higher cost.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of Ceramic Substrates?

Ceramic substrates have numerous advantages, including high resistance, outstanding high-frequency characteristics, high thermal conductivity, excellent chemical stability, earthquake resistance, heat resistance, and pressure resistance. However, ceramic PCBs also have noticeable disadvantages, such as fragility, relatively high scrap rates in various processes, high prices, and greater processing difficulty due to their high hardness and density, which can lead to easier breakage of drill bits and milling cutters during processing.
